So I didn't forget these two ladies' birthdays. I have been so busy getting accustomed to school this week that I let this slip by. But none the less- it was their BIRTHDAYS!!! Erin's was May 1st and Jessica's was yesterday, May 6th. I just wanted to write a post to say what I love about these girls and how much they inspire me and how much fun I have had with them over the years we've been friends.
Where to start?
If only I had pictures from the time I actually met these girls. Those would be priceless- but they are stuck back in Idaho, which Erin and Jessica are probably grateful for, because MAN- we were goofy! I have a picture from my 7th grade birthday party that would just rock your socks off with how little we were. I mean, we were wearing OVERALLS. Yes- overalls. I'll start off talking about Erin and then Jessica so this post isn't complete mumbo jumbo.
I met Erin in 7th grade in Mr. B's class. We were his favorites I will have you know. He called us JT and Slaughter. We were quite the duo. We met when we had to think of idea for a commercial or something of the sort. We sat close to each other and came up with this crazy commercial. I won't go into detail- it is quite embarrassing- but it did involve KFC chicken, a knife, feathers, and a certain phrase: Where's the chicken? It was so creepy now that I look back on it, but we sure were laughin' at the time! Erin is an incredible singer, and I probably embarrassed her way too many times when I would coax her into singing for people. I specifically remember her singing "Burn" by JoDee Messina and "Survivor" by Destiny's Child. HA! I was just blown away by her voice and was soo jealous of her talent- still am.
We remained friends through the remainder of middle school and all through high school. We had the funnest memories- some Erin would probably not want me to share. Let's just say I did some ridiculously weird things when I was with Erin- things I would never do with anyone else! We may or may not have skinny dipped in a pool broad daylight. We were always dressing up, dancing, runnin' around town like fools- you know- all the immature but great things. We fancied each other so much we even decided to take our adventures from home and continue them down south when we entered BYU together as freshman! WHAT A FUN YEAR! She was constantly making us laugh with her crazy things that would come out of her mouth. She also had some more serious, deep quotes such as: "Life may hit you in the back.... and then you're done for" or "Did I ever tell you my head once popped off in a movie theater?" We made up so many dances to songs like Kiss by Prince and White Houses by Vanessa Carlton (yes you can make up a dance to that song. It was a ridiculous dance that she actually got me to do in front of WAY too many people).

I look like my head just got chopped off
She wore this outfit to our Statistics class at BYU. Amazing.
BYU football games
Many nights we shared this mountain dew to keep us awake- especially on our road trips to Boise (when we left at 8:00 p.m.- stupid girls)
Our outfits for our dance to Kiss by Prince. As Bridger saw this picture just now he said "Oh brother...."
We got Erin all dressed up like the girl from The Notebook- we worked so hard for this shot haha. Classy.
We went on the ride at Lagoon where you are strapped in and they pull you up way high in the air and just drop you. SO FUN!! At the time we couldn't believe we were doing it.
She moved down to St. George after Freshman year so that is where our journey split- but we've remained great friends since. She met her Mr. Wonderful there at Dixie and within something like 2 weeks knew she was going to marry Jack. The conversation has been said to have gone something like this: (after Erin hounding Jack to tell her what was on his mind) Jack said: "I think I could marry you" (or something to that effect)... Erin's reply? "You could or WILL?" HAHA talk about forward right? But she just knew! She was smitten! They married in the St. George temple January 5, 2008. But you know Erin- always full of surprises- she was the first to have a baby of all us gals! In September 2009 she gave birth to Baby Jackson- and he's a cutie! She just graduated from dental hygiene and is moving to Salt Lake soon, which I am thrilled about!
Erin and Jack
They are both goofs- perfect for each other. This was their Christmas card.
Married!
Pregnant! Little did Jessica know she would be NEXT!
Little Baby Jackson
Erin's little family
Erin is such a strong woman. Not many girls can go through dental hygiene school with a brand new baby! Talk about wonder woman. I love how she can make the room roll with laughter, yet you can have the best talks for hours with her at the same time. She's wild and crazy but so down to earth and humble. She can dance and sing like a rockstar. She's just amazing! I LOVE YOU ERIN!!
She sang "When I Said I Do" at our wedding

As for Jessica- what a FUN girl. Seriously- I got lucky with some seriously fun friends. I honestly don't even remember the EXACT moment Jessica and I met- we were just around eachother a bunch in middle school and somehow were introduced. I do know we were in 8th grade English together and always seemed to get in trouble for talking too much. Maybe the teacher knew we were making fun of her clip all the time. Okay- that sounds mean- but we were just amazed that ALL her hair would fit into this little tiny claw clip- we weren't vicious or anything. So many good memories with this girl- we had the best sleep overs at her house where we would pile so many girls on that bed I usually ended up being the pillow laying horizontal at the top of the bed. Her house seemed to be the gathering place- we were always swimmin' or eating chips and salsa over there or somethin! Chips and salsa- whenever I eat that stuff I immediately think of Jessica. Honestly we ate it every time we were over there! We would gather around the bowl and just chow before we knew what happened.
Senior Picnic- last day of highschool! Ignore my red eyes- I had allergies so bad but everybody thought I was crying because I was sad for high school to be over
Oooo yaaaa.....

What to even say about this picture?
Or this one?
Fun in the snow!
Jessica is quite the athlete. Okay she really is but her biff was so graceful
Jessica was always the life of the party. She seriously knew how to let her guard down and just have FUN. She didn't care what people thought about her or whether she was acting 'cool' or not- she was just Jessica- always true to herself and always lookin' for a good time. When I say "was" and "knew" and "didn't" I guess I should say "is, know, and doesn't" because she is just the same today! She doesn't change depending on the people she's around like so many people do. She is Jessica- pure and simple. Anyway- We did powderpuff together- which she rocked at by the way, even though she had just had her wisdom teeth removed. She has always been rockin' at sports- basketball especially.
Jessica is always laughing! I love it.
Well hello there..
River rafting-- what were we doing? I don't know...
Pretty friends
Charge!!!!
Jessica went to dental assisting school after high school and then finished a year at BYU-Idaho. During visits back to Boise she met Nick Drzayich and fell in love! They got married December 29, 2007- the first of all us girls! Now- almost 2 and 1/2 years later- she is about to give birth to her baby girl EMMI! She is due May 13th- so it could be any day now. I can't wait for her to have this little one- she is going to be such a good mom! She's the cutest pregnant girl- you know- the kind that only look pregnant in their stomach but nowhere else.
Jessica and Nick
MARRIED!
PREGNANT!!!
I look up to Jessica for her integrity in living her life the way she knows to be right no matter what. I look up to her for how much fun she can have and how carefree she is. She's beautiful inside and out and I just wish I could see her more!
Below are just some more pictures- just for the heck of it!
