Obsess much?

I have a problem...

You see, I saw the picture below on pinterest a couple months ago and I decided that Bridger and I should re-do our room on a budget.  The only problem?

Once I see a picture of something, I have a hard time accepting anything else.  I obsess over it and look through pages and pages of online pages looking for the exact thing.  I went to the fabric store with my mom and we found some awesome fabrics.  And I already know we are going to make a cream or gray headboard instead of the coral one- because I'll be honest, what if I get sick of it?  A bright coral headboard?  This way I can change colors as the years go by without getting a new headboard.

Anyway.  Off the subject!

We found these great fabrics- but I keep going back to this picture, wanting to find two of the exact patterns and I CAN'T!  I should just accept it and move on.  I found cute stuff.  But I tell ya- when I see something I want, it's hard for me to get it out of my head.  The subtle grey striped pillows and the coral/rusty with a hint of blue pillows- where are you?

I told you I have a problem.  A very, very maternalistic problem.  I'll just tell myself that if I found them they would cost like $200 a piece- because let's be real, I wouldn't be surprised these days.

Also, my new love- Cost Plus World Market.  I know it's supposed to be awesome deals for their stuff, and I don't doubt it is.  But when you are fresh out of college with student loans piled high, $130 for a picture/table/mirror/dishes just doesn't seem that cheap.  But that store has some seriously awesome stuff!  Here are just a few things on my wish list.

My mom got us started with the last picture- the mirror with shutters.  It's so cute- definitely cuter in person!  I guess you can't get the real effect without an actual mirror in it :)  We were standing in line and she just had to go back because in her words, "It will be gone by the time you come back to get it. Happy house warming!"  She's pretty great and it was so fun just walking around showing her all the things I liked- even if we just went in to get curry sauce!  It's nice to have someone to run errands with!

I just tell myself that once I get a job I can just add like one thing a month to our collection right?

Okay that's probably too much lusting for one night...

2012 Fortune

Being the cute lady she is, my mom got fortune cookies for everyone at the New Years Eve party at my grandparents. After midnight we all got one and this is what mine said...

I opened it up and just had to laugh. Really? A sports opportunity? So awhile later I decided I deserved a better one, since clearly I am not the sports-participating type. And this is what I found...

Honestly??

Out of 50 fortunes, that's what I got? We had a good laugh about that one.  I guess I learned to just stick with the first one!
