The last few days of our summer were spent in celebration of Lindsy and Tyler. On August 29, 2009, these two lovebirds tied the knot!
Where to even begin.... we had a rehearsal for the wedding Friday evening.

Lindsy and Tyler asked Bridger if he would officiate for them. It meant so much to him to have that honor. This was him just practicing- I didn't take any pictures of him during the actual ceremony. He did a fabulous job. It really was perfect, and it meant so much to Lindsy.
Friday evening the celebration kicked off with a BBQ at Greg and Jean's house (Tyler's step-dad and mother). It was so nice to hang out and see everyone. Greg and Jean are incredibly nice people and such great hosts. Lindsy felt awful that evening- in fact she had been really, really sick all week long. She was a trooper though. I just kept hoping and praying she would feel better for her big day. She had put so much energy and heart into planning this event, and she definitely deserved for it to be perfect!

Saturday morning I headed over to the Mahaffey's where the wedding was going to be. Lynn and Lindsy spent the night in their guesthouse and she invited the girls over to get our hair and make-up done- which was SO nice of her! We went over there at 9:00 and didn't have pictures until about 3:00, so it was a very relaxing morning just to be able to hang out, talk, eat, laugh, get pampered, etc. Luckily Lindsy felt GREAT! A complete 180 from the night before- such a blessing!
I love this picture! Lindsy made all her flower arrangements for the wedding, but with being sick and having millions of things to do, she ran out of time to make her bouquet. She was still planning on doing it late, late Friday night (after the BBQ), but everyone forced her to go to bed early. Pete made the bouquet, and he did such a good job- just look at it! It's gorgeous! It's even sweeter that Lindsy's father made her bouquet.

Getting my hair "did". And no- Bridger wasn't one of the "girls" getting pampered. He was superman that morning and ran all over town getting last minute things, picking up dresses, and saving the day.
Lindsy was the most beautiful bride i'd ever seen- not lying. She looked FLAWLESS!

After the long, relaxing morning and afternoon it was time for PICTURES! (not like we hadn't taken a million already by this time) So Lindsy slipped into this beauty.

Tyler wasn't allowed to see Lindsy before pictures. We headed to the river in Eagle to take pictures, and they had the "first sighting". Disclaimer: I didn't actually take all of the pictures in this post. I took a lot of them- but a lot of them are from friends' or Lynn's camera. When Lindsy came walking down the path and Tyler turned around and saw her, it was one of the sweetest things i have EVER witnessed- I'm not exaggerating. Tyler looked at Lindsy in a way I have never seen before, and when his jaw started to shake and I knew he was fighting back tears, my tears just came flowing! This is the only picture we have of that moment- and I wish we had the whole series of pictures from it, but I'll take what I can get!

After pictures was the moment we all waited for.... the ceremony! I had been so excited for the wedding for so long, and it was finally here! It was a beautiful ceremony- you could probably say perfect. I honestly don't have words to really describe the feelings I had during the whole thing. I guess those feelings could be... overwhelming love, happiness, excitement, and most of all gratitude. I was truly grateful at that moment, and still am, that these two people found each other, and chose to spend their lives together.

Following the ceremony, we had a yummy dinner, toasts by Lexie, Andy (Tyler's brother), Pete, and Lindsy, cake-cutting, first dance, father-daughter dance, and LOTS more dancing!
Cash was exhausted! He had a long day.

The night was so special and SO fun! I hadn't had that much fun in a long time. The next day we went to Marianne and Pete's and watched them open presents. Ava was playing with her bubble machine and Cash was entertained trying to catch them.
They got lots of great stuff!
The wedding was incredible, the company was even better, and this day will be a special memory that I'll always look back at and smile. Lindsy and Tyler- thank you so much for everything. You put on quite the party. Bridger and I are so happy for the two of you and are so excited for all the great memories to come!
